Described as “INCREDIBLE” by WGN TV News, this annual event is an October tradition for tens of thousands. We invite you to walk our amazing trail filled with 1000’s of Jack O’lanterns hand carved by over 50 artisans. Gather friends and family to experience our one-of-a-kind whimsical celebration of Halloween, art, nature & fall.

Our Vision

Jack O’Lantern World is the vision and creation of an award-winning artist supported by a team of over 50 artisans, designers, architects, carpenters, and event planners. Each New Year we all go to work hand crafting and carving a totally new one-of-a-kind experience. We seek to amaze, create joy and bring the community together around tradition.

This October gather your friends and family and take a journey through the “Jack O’ Lantern World” experience. Walk a 3/4 mile long trail through 1000’s of Jack O’Lanterns hand carved by local artisans. Experience our one of a kind whimsical celebration of art, nature & fall.

Parking instructions:
1. Park in West lot only. (*See step 3)
2. Use above address for navigation. Do not use Paulus Park address.
3. Do not park in East lot unless you need an accessible parking spot, are an elder person or an expecting mother.
4. Follow the red dotted line on the map below to the entrance gates.
5. Use extreme caution crossing RT 12.

Food Truck Schedule

Event Information

You must arrive within 15 minutes after your selected start time on your ticket.

Lights turn off 1 hour after last entry time.

This event is ADA accessible. Trail is a paved path.

By attending this event, you are entering the Jack O’Lantern World Walk at your own risk. There are possible areas of low lighting, no light, uneven surfaces, variable terrain and slippery surfaces.

The trail will take approximately 45 min to walk through. Actual time depends on you!

You will need to have your ticket printed off or pulled up on your phone to present at the admission gate. There will be no on-site ticket sales.

Prices include admission for one adult or child.

Tickets are valid for one use.

Tickets are necessary for anyone over the age of 3.

All sales are final and promotions and discounts cannot be added retroactively.

Portable toilets available on site.

Service dogs only, please no pets.

Stay on the clearly marked trail at all times.

Do not touch pumpkins, lights and displays.

All guests, including children 3+ years old, must have a ticket to enter.

Tickets are good for one use at the specified date and timeslot on the ticket.

Trail is one-way only.

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to anyone diagnosed/showing symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days, PLEASE STAY AT HOME.

Weather Policy

We are open in most weather conditions however, we will not be able to operate in severe conditions that include lightning. In the event that we must cancel the show, you will be able to transfer your ticket to another available night. If you decide to come on a weekday and your ticket was for a peak night ex. (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) we will be unable to issue a refund for the difference in ticket prices.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR TICKET DATE/TIME
To Transfer Your Ticket Follow these steps:
1. Click on this link and select “Enter Ticket Email” button under the heading “Resend Ticket Confirmation.”
2. Go to your email and pull up the resent ticket and select “Manage Tickets” button and enter the verification code also included in that same email.
3. You will then be able to transfer your tickets to a new date and time.
4. You will receive a new email with a new QR code once the transfer is complete. You will receive one QR code for all tickets purchased.

Rules & COVID Protocols

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to anyone diagnosed/showing symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 14 days, PLEASE STAY AT HOME.

Maintain a distance of 6 ft. from others at all times.

Facial coverings are recommended for anyone over the age of 2 when within 6 ft. of space from another person.

Stay on the clearly marked trail at all times.

Do not touch the light displays.

All guests, including children over 3 years old, must have a ticket to enter.

Groups cannot exceed 10 people.

By attending this event, you are entering the Jack O Lantern Festival Walk at your own risk. There are possible areas of low lighting, no light, uneven surfaces, variable terrain and slippery surfaces.

Illnesses including COVID-19 can spread through close human to human contact which could occur at this trail walk. COVID-19 can cause death. Please stay 6′ apart.

Tickets are good for one use at the specified date and timeslot on the ticket.
